In contrast to what the name may suggest, the Pupil Development Centre is not a separate setting or building. It is a safe space located in Summerhouse where staff offer group and individual sessions to pupils who are in need of support with the social and emotional aspects of learning, school life or their home life.
In the room, pupils can participate in sessions which help them to develop areas such as social skills and friendship groups.
